【Abstract】 The Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China clearly put forward the "the fundamental system of adhering to the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field", which is a major institutional innovation and provides a fundamental basis for ideological construction in the new era. The proposal and establishment of this fundamental system has profound theoretical, historical and practical logic. This article focuses on an in-depth analysis of the fundamental system and the logic behind it.
