Yb2O3对Ti-1100铸态合金高温力学性能的影响

【摘要】 采用钨电极非自耗电弧炉制备不同Yb2O3含量的Ti-1100铸态合金,利用高温炉配合WDW-300型电子万能试验机在温度为25~800℃、应变速率为10-4~10-2s-1下对合金进行压缩实验,研究了Yb2O3对Ti-1100合金力学性能的影响,并利用扫描电镜对合金微观组织的变化和压缩断口样貌进行观察。结果表明:在Ti-1100合金中加入Yb2O3可明显提升屈服强度,当温度为25~600℃时,Yb2O3含量为0.45%(质量分数,下同)的合金的压缩屈服强度提升最为理想;当温度达到800℃时,Yb2O3的含量为0.60%的合金的压缩屈服强度提升最为理想。Yb2O3可明显细化Ti-1100合金晶粒,并且使得合金α片层间距得到细化。当Yb2O3含量为0.45%时,合金的塑性变形能力明显增强。

【Abstract】 Ti-1100 as-cast alloys with different contents of Yb2O3 were prepared by tungsten electrode non-consumption arc furnace. The WDW-300 electronic universal testing machine was used to compress the alloy at temperatures of 25—800 ℃ and strain rate of 10-4—10-2 s-1. The effect of Yb2O3 on the mechanical properties of Ti-1100 as-cast alloy was investigated. Scanning electron microscopy was used to observe the microstructure changes and compression fracture appearance of the alloy. The results show that the yield strength of Ti-1100 alloy was improved obviously by the addition of Yb2O3. At 25—600 ℃, the alloy with Yb2O3 content of 0.45 wt% had the best compression yield strength improvement. At 800 ℃, the alloy had the highest compressive yield strength when the Yb2O3 content is 0.60 wt%. The grain size and α lamellar spacing of Ti-1100 alloy were refined obviously by adding Yb2O3. The plastic deformation ability of the alloy with Yb2O3 content of 0.45 wt% is obviously enhanced.
