【Abstract】 Xiangla 17 is an F₁ hybrid with CMS line 03MA as its female parent and inbred line R2413-192 as its male parent. Its fruit is slender, straight, growing fast, 22-24 cm in length and about 1.6 cm in width. The fruit is hard and hot,uniform in the early and late harvesting period, and its single fruit weight is about 22 g, in addition, the fruit setting ability is pretty good. Xiangla 17 has strong comprehensive resistance, such as tolerance to high temperature, drought, waterlogging,virus disease, storage and transportation, and resistance to erysipelas, blight, anthrax, bacterial wilt.
