【Abstract】 As an indigenous language spoken by most people in Zambia,Bemba has the following phonetic features:(1) there are five vowels and eighteen consonants;(2) there are pitch variation and vowel length in terms of suprasegmental properties,but no emphasis;(3) syllables are either open syllables,self-contained syllables m or n,or closed syllables with m or n as the coda;(4) sandhi and phonetic harmony are quite common.更多还原
