【Abstract】 The audio-visual archives of celebrities in universities are the historical deposits accumulated in universities,highlighting the teaching achievements and incorporating the overall strength and influence of universities. At present, the development of archives of celebrities in universities is quite imbalanced. The traditional form of archives has substantially restricted the construction, the development and the utilization of celebrity archives in universities. In the era of multimedia, archives of celebrities can be further explored by various technical means with the advantage of "Internet +" platform, and be gradually built from monotonous "dead archives" to "living textbooks" with "temperature and without distance". By telling famous stories, anecdotes and fun, audio-visual archives can retain the historical memories and interpreting the valuable spirit of university.
