【Abstract】 The river chief system is a national water environment management system. Taking the ecological leading area of Yixing as an example, this paper mainly studied the social function of river chief system by questionnaire.The implementation status was evaluated from three aspects: publicity degree, satisfaction degree of river management and public support degree.
