【Abstract】 Intermarriage between the Northern Song and Liao dynasties, which had been discussed for three times during that period, was never implemented due to some restrictions. Since then, the phenomenon of non-marriage between Han government and the other neighboring nations was attributed to national prejudice, but it could be biased. The appearance of non-intermarriage since the Northern Song Dynasty was due to Han nationality′s reflections on intermarriage policy and consideration on national interests. The essence of this phenomenon was that Han nationality maintained the strong relationship with other ethnic groups around by substantial benefit exchange.更多还原
