【Abstract】 The red mushroom from Wulushan mountain in the south of Lyuliang mountain in Shanxi province was confirmed to be Russula sanguinaria by ITS molecular fragment analysis. R. sanguinaria is the first record in Shanxi province, which occurs in the floor of plantation of Pinus tabulaeformis with plenty yields in summer and autumn, it is the dominant ectomycorrhizal mycorrhizal species in local P. tabulaeformis forest at the present stage.
