【Abstract】 The bottom line thinking is one of new thinking of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It takes root in the wisdom of Chinese traditional culture and has the good qualities of both Chinese and western culture. It embodies not only the essence of dialectical Marxism thoughts,but also all the previous C.P.C. leaders’ wise thoughts. It is the objective requirements of construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The advocating and emphasizing of the bottom line thinking helps C.P.C. leaders keeps alert in the following aspects in the new era,such as persisting in great struggle,building the great construction,advancing the great cause,realizing the great Chinese dream.
