【Abstract】 The essence of Hu shi’s research method is "bold hypothesis and careful verification". On the base of the existed research achievements and Hu shi’s research spirits, the authors boldly presumes its origin firstly in Chinese medicine and astronomy in the Han and Tang dynasties and secondly in the schools of Lian, Guan, Luo and Min in the Song dynasty, and carefully find the evidences to support these assumptions. We assume that Hu shi’s research methods had experienced a long process of formation and refinement, and would be the result with a long-term immersion in Chinese traditional culture and triggered suddenly by Western learning.更多还原
