对地空气式静电放电特性试验
Experimental Characteristics of Air Electrostatic Discharge to Ground
【摘要】 为充分了解电子设备空气式静电放电(ESD)放电电流的特点,利用研制的带垂直导轨可调速ESD模拟器空气式ESD试验平台,在不同放电电压、不同放电极性和模拟器不同接近速度,针对对地空气式ESD进行了试验研究。试验结果表明,在一定电压范围内,放电电流峰值随放电电压的升高减小,同时上升时间随放电电压的升高而增大;模拟器接近速度越大,放电电流峰值越大,上升时间越小;在某些放电电压下出现多次波形。对地空气式ESD可与电子设备空气式ESD试验结果相互印证,为电子设备ESD损伤机制提供试验和理论基础。
【Abstract】 In order to fully understand the characteristics of the discharge current of air electrostatic discharge(ESD)in electronic equipment,an experimental platform for air ESD with a vertical guide is developed. The relationship between discharge current waveform and characteristic parameters was studied under different discharge voltage,discharge polarity and simulator proximity velocity. The experimental results show that the peak value of discharge current decreases with the increase of discharge voltage and the rising time increases with the increase of discharge voltage within a certain voltage range,and the larger the approaching speed of simulator is,the greater the peak value of discharge current is,and the smaller the rising time is. Multiple waveforms appear under certain discharge voltages. Ground-air ESD and air ESD test results of electronic equipment can verify each other,and provide experimental and theoretical basis for ESD damage mechanism of electronic equipment.
