【Abstract】 It is the training goal of our school to cultivate "high-level applied talents oriented to the basic level, solid foundation, broad knowledge, strong practical ability, high comprehensive quality and innovative spirit". Through the exploration and practice of combining students’ extracurricular scientific and technological activities with professional design, the research on the innovation quality of students majoring in materials science and engineering is used as the carrier to cultivate students’ scientific thinking ability, establish a theoretical and practical knowledge framework system, and train students’ teamwork.
