【Abstract】 The national chemical engineering design contest for college students is the highest level professional contest for chemical engineering and technology. The contest is an important platform to the classroom for engineering practice. It has put forward requirements and suggestion for professional teaching. The results and experiences summed up from chemical engineering design contest attended by Hubei University of Technology in recent years. Promotion of chemical engineering design contest to teaching reform is explored.
