玉米黄质的保健机制与生物合成研究进展
Research progress in therapeutic mechanism and biosynthesis of zeaxanthin
【摘要】 玉米黄质是一种重要的天然含氧类胡萝卜素,在植物与动物的生长发育过程中起重要的作用。该文通过梳理近年来玉米黄质的相关研究报道,介绍了玉米黄质的理化性质,玉米黄质在预防老年黄斑变性、抗癌症和改善糖尿病并发症等方面的作用,以及玉米黄质在植物和微生物中的生物合成途径;并对玉米黄质研究中有待解决的问题进行阐述。
【Abstract】 Zeaxanthin plays an important natural oxycarotenoid playing important roles in the growth and development of plants and animals. In this paper, the physicochemical properties of zeaxanthin, the mechanisms of zeaxanthin in preventing age-related macular degeneration, anti-cancer and improving diabetic complications, as well as the biosynthetic pathways of zeaxanthin in plants and microorgans were introduced. In addition, the problems need to be solved in the study of zeaxanthin were elaborated.
