Comparison of the Effects of Conventional Therapy and Budesonide Inhalation on Children with Pneumonia
【Abstract】 Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of conventional therapy and budesonide inhalation in the treatment of children with pneumonia. Methods 97 children with pediatric pneumonia admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into two groups(February to October 2018). The children in the reference group were treated with conventional therapy for 48 children with pneumonia. The treatment group was treated with 49 cases. Children with pneumonia in children underwent budesonide inhalation therapy under the premise of conventional therapy, and compared the difference in treatment effect between the two groups of children with pneumonia. Results The symptom relief time,VC level, FEV1 level and MVV level in children with pneumonia in the treatment group were better than those in the reference group(P<0.05), and the treatment group was treated. The effective rate(93.88%) was higher than that of the reference group(79.17%),the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=4.52, P=0.03); however, the incidence of adverse reactions(6.12%) after treatment in the treatment group did not differ from the reference group(12.50%),the difference was not statistical significance(χ~2=1.25,P=0.26). Conclusion The efficacy of budesonide inhalation therapy for children with pneumonia is obvious, which is beneficial to the improvement of lung function and improve the quality of life and prognosis of children.
