蔓越莓沙棘复合粉对男性精子质量影响的研究
Effects of cranberry and sea-buckthorn composite powder on human sperm parameters
【摘要】 目的研究蔓越莓沙棘复合粉是否能改善精子质量相关参数,为通过食物改善男性生殖健康提供思路。方法纳入符合入选标准和排除标准的志愿者共106例,年龄范围18岁~51岁,BMI指数(18.4~34.2)kg/m~2。分别在受试者服用蔓越莓沙棘复合粉的第一阶段、第二阶段和第三阶段,检测精液常规、精子形态、精子DNA完整性及精浆生化等指标。利用统计软件SPSS18.0分析志愿者各阶段精液参数。结果完成第二和第三阶段的志愿者分别是78和52例。①与服用前相比,服用至第二和第三阶段,志愿者前向运动精子百分率从[(26.26±10.47)%升高至(34.76±14.63)%和(34.16±13.32)%],服用至第三阶段,精子浓度从[(40.99±31.91)×10~6/ml升高至(48.23±30.44)×10~6/ml]和精子形态从[(4.38±3.08)%升高至(4.87±3.25)%],得到改善,具有统计学意义。尤其是部分少精子症和弱精子症志愿者,服用一段时间后,少精子症志愿者精子浓度[(8.27±4.64)×10~6/ml升高至(23.78±21.32)×10~6/ml,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)];弱精子症志愿者前向运动精子百分率[(22.01±6.16)%升高至(32.85±13.46)%,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.001)]均值达正常范围。②服用蔓越莓沙棘复合粉后,志愿者精子DNA完整性和精浆生化与服用前相比,无统计学差异(P>0.05)。结论①已有结果提示蔓越莓沙棘复合粉能在一定程度上改善精子浓度、精子活力和形态,尤其提高精子浓度和前向运动精子百分率;②服用蔓越莓沙棘复合粉不影响精子DNA完整性和精浆生化。然而其明确结果还有待进一步扩大样本量加以验证。
【Abstract】 Objective To study whether cranberry and sea-buckthorn(Hippophae rhamnoides) compound powder can improve the quality of human sperm and to provide ideas for improving reproductive health through eatables.Methods There were 106 volunteers who met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, aged(18~51) years and BMI index(18.4~34.2) kg/m~2.The indexes including semen routine, sperm morphology, sperm DNA integrity and seminal plasma biochemistry were checked during the first stage, the second stage and the third stage after subjects treated with cranberry and sea-buckthorn composite powder. Data were analyzed by the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS 18.0).Results Among the 106 volunteers, a total of 78 and 52 subjects completed the examination at the second and third stage, respectively. ①Compared with before taking cranberry and sea-buckthorn compound powder, at the second and third stage,progressive sperm motility( from(26.26±10.47)% to(34.76±14.63)% and(34.16±13.32)%, P<0.0001,P<0.001),at the third stage,the sperm concentration( from(40.99±31.91)×10~6/ml, to(48.23±30.44)×10~6/ml, P<0.05), and sperm morphology(from(4.38±3.08)% to(4.87±3.25)%, P<0.05)were improved; especially for some of oligospermia and asthenospermia volunteers, the average of sperm concentration(from(8.27±4.64)×10~6/ml to(23.78±21.32)×10~6/ml, P<0.05) and progressive sperm motility(from(22.01±6.16) % to(32.85±13.46) %, P<0.001) were recovered to normal. ②There was no significant difference in sperm DNA integrity and seminal plasma biochemistry.Conclusions The results showed us that supplementation with cranberry and sea-buckthorn composite powder could improve sperm concentration, sperm motility and sperm morphology to some extent, especially enhanced sperm concentration and progressive sperm motility. The cranberry and sea-buckthorn composite powder does not affect sperm DNA integrity and seminal plasma biochemistry. Nevertheless, it still needs to expand the sample size to verify.
