【Abstract】 Japanese architecture has many distinctive characteristics and spatial uncertainty is one of them. This article tries to explore the process and the construction strategy of how spatial uncertainty of Japanese traditional architecture was developed through the investigation of the expression of uncertainty in contemporary architectural spaces.
