【Abstract】 Innovative ability is one of the core qualities of students in Higher Vocational colleges. In order to cultivate the innovative ability of higher vocational students based on mathematical modeling competition, it should be started with strengthening the construction of teaching staff of mathematical modeling, reforming the teaching methods of higher mathematics, optimizing the curriculum of higher vocational mathematics, and perfecting the mechanism of promoting learning by competition. In the process of implementation, the school should stick to the teaching reform as the basic grasp and take policy as the basis. Supporting the top-level design, taking the construction of teaching materials and teachers as the resource guarantee, and taking innovation as the ultimate goal, the mechanism of cultivating students’ innovation ability in higher vocational colleges by mathematical modeling competition is comprehensively constructed.更多还原
