【Abstract】 The German poet Stefan George proposed the "heilig"war in his poetry collection Der Stern des Bundes published on the eve of the First World War and was always misunderstood as supporting the war.By interpreting the two poems in Der Stern des Bundes and the long poem Der Krieg written in 1917,this article analyzes the meaning of George’s "heilig"war and argues that Stefan George prophesied at the same time another "heilig"war of salvation that specifically means creating new life with poetry.更多还原
