【Abstract】 Due to the sustained growth of e-resources,the conventional collection development policies and selection criteria,together with the related role of library professionals,have been evolving and shifting rapidly. More and more libraries of research universities at home and abroad start to adjust their collection development policies,and shift their focus from resources owning to resources accessing. Nowadays the strategic approach to resources tends to more co-ordination and collaboration,based on cooperative selection and sharing of resources,through consortia agreement,group procurement,and open access. It is crucial and helpful to explore and evaluate the impact of the new information environment,particularly the sustained growing of e-resources,on the collection development policies of research university libraries,in order to better adjust and improve the framework of various types of resources,provide comprehensive and efficient resources support for teaching and researching.更多还原
