【Abstract】 High and low contexts, proposed by famous anthropologist Hall, show the differences of people’s communication patterns under the influence of different historical origins, cultural backgrounds and social environments. Taking China as an example, this paper analyses the origin and characteristics of high context culture, then enumerates the influence of cultural differences between high and low context on cross-cultural communication and puts forward some suggestions on how to carry out cross-cultural communication more effectively.更多还原
