碳对水淬的Ti-Nb合金中Snoek型弛豫的影响
The Influence of Carbon Addition on Snoek Relaxation in the Water-quenched Ti-Nb Alloys
【摘要】 采用美国TA仪器公司的动力学分析仪(Q800)研究了水淬的含碳Ti-35.4Nb-0.05C(wt.%)和不含碳Ti-35.4Nb(wt.%)合金的内耗行为。实验结果表明:两种合金的内耗—温度曲线上都存在一个弛豫型的内耗峰,含碳的Ti-35.4Nb-0.05C内耗峰的弛豫激活能Hq=1.82±0.1eV,指数前因子τ0q=1.7×10-19±1s。这个激活能值比不含碳水淬的Ti-35.4Nb合金的激活能稍大,同时,含碳水淬的Ti-35.4Nb-0.05C合金的内耗峰高度比水淬的Ti-35.4Nb合金低,初步推断是因为C的添加抑制了O引起的弛豫强度。
【Abstract】 The internal friction behavior of water-quenched Ti-35.4 Nb-0.05 C(wt.%) and Ti-35.4 Nb(wt.%) alloys was investigated using a dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) Q800 from TA Instruments. It has been shown that a relaxational internal friction peak is observed on internal friction(tanδ)-temperature curves for the two alloys. The activation energy and pre-exponential factor of the peak are Hq=1.82±0.1 eV and τ0 q=1.7×10-19 ±1 s,respectively. The activation energy value of the water-quenched Ti-35.4 Nb-0.05 C is a little larger than that of the water-quenched Ti-35.4 Nb alloy and its peak height is decreased compared with the water-quenched Ti-35.4 Nb alloy. It can be deduced that the addition of C suppressed the relaxation strength induced by O in the Ti-Nb alloys.
