【摘要】 自述半个世纪来研究《儒林外史》的历程,从考索吴敬梓的家世、探析其思想面貌,为其立传起始;进而又从多方面评论其作品《儒林外史》的思想和艺术,并采用"五四"以来少有人运用的批点形式,前后进行四次批评,均能公开出版;尔后又研究前人的研究,撰写了《儒林外史》研究史。在研讨过程中联系学术界对某些问题的讨论,并发表一己之见,可作为研究史当代一页的补充。在反顾研究历程时,也述及个人的学术见解和研究方法,如文与史的关系,认为二者可以互证,但不能互代,并且在校、注、评等方面均举例说明。更多还原

【Abstract】 This article briefly describes the author’s academic research on Rulin waishi 儒林外史(literally Unofficial History of the Scholars) in more than half a century. He began his work from the study on the family information and thoughts of Wu Jingzi, which resulted in a biography of Wu Jingzi, the great literary master in the Qing Dynasty. On this basis, he started the project exploring the thought and artistic achievements in Rulin waishi by means of the method of punctuation and annotation, which had rarely been used since the May Fourth Movement. The author’s four rounds of punctuation and annotation on Rulin waishi have all been published. After that, he completed a book entitled The Research History of Rulin Waishi which focuses on the predecessors ’research achievements in their studies on this great Chinese literary classic. He introduces some academic problems and expresses his point of view when writing about the history of his own study. The book also occasionally shows the author’s academic research method, for example, the relationship between literature and history, which, in the author’s eyes, can be evidenced by each other but cannot be used as a proof to replace each other. This has also been demonstrated with some examples given in the book.更多还原
