【Abstract】 Starting from university cadres’ necessary ability to guide the media and public opinion, this paper systematically analyzes various problems in university cadres’ practice of media and public opinion governance. It points out that university cadres should constantly strengthen their political consciousness, responsibility consciousness and initiative consciousness, and adhere to universities’ socialist ownership.
