【摘要】 EMI教学是指通过使用英语教授非语言类的专业课程。在共建"一带一路"以及我国推进高等教育国际化的大背景下,未来一段时间里,"一带一路"沿线国家将是国内高校学历留学生的最主要生源地,这对高校实施面向留学生的EMI教学提出了要求。本文分析了高校针对"一带一路"国家留学生开展EMI教学的动因,探讨了其中出现的主要问题和挑战,并进而提出了完善高校面向"一带一路"国家留学生EMI教学的对策建议。在全球化及互联网时代,以英语作为主流国际学术语言及课堂教学用语的趋势已难以逆转,高校需要把面向"一带一路"沿线国家留学生的EMI教学推行下去。更多还原

【Abstract】 EMI is the teaching of academic subjects in English in countries or jurisdictions where English is usually not the first language for the majority of the population. In the course of co-constructing the Belt and Road and ongoing internationalization of higher education, the Belt and Road countries will be the major sources of China’s overseas students. It demands the adoption of EMI in Chinese universities. The paper analyzes the reasons for employing EMI to the Belt and Road students, corresponding problems and challenges. Finally, it sets forth some suggestions to improve EMI programs. In this globalization and internet era, English is inevitably the major academic and classroom language. Chinese universities should carry out EMI programs for the Belt and Road students.更多还原
