【Abstract】 Longmen Grottoes constitute a treasure house of the ancient Chinese royal Buddhist stone carving art. The limestone geological structure evolving in the grotto area and its various secondary layers of the structure have induced many diseases in the grotto niches and dominated the trend of evolution. On the macro level, the regional geological structure has occupied the limestone stratum pattern and, on the micro level, it spreads the diseases as flake cracking, crisply disintegrating and niche surface powdering. And the leaching and weathering zone at the top of Longmen Mountain is one of the main causes that makes Grottoes suffer long from seepage diseases.更多还原
