【Abstract】 Teachers are the practitioners of combining education theory with teaching practice. Their attainments directly affect the qualities of personnel training and determine the future of the country. China fully implements National Examination of teachers’ qualification. That is the rare opportunities as well as serious challenges for initial teachers training in normal universities. This paper, based on the source researches of teachers’ qualification systems about America, Britain, France, Germany, and Japan, traces the process of teachers’ qualification developments from direct recognition to test certification in our country. As for the existing problems of the cultivation and exams of English major initial teachers, it explores the training paths from the dimensions of curriculum theory, methodology, learning theory, and teaching theory.更多还原
