【摘要】 教育作为一个产业,具有多种外溢效应,这种外溢效应提高了生产要素的质量,使经济活动具有更高的效率。文章基于辽宁省14个市2005-2016年的数据,采用空间杜宾模型,实证分析公共教育支出对经济增长影响的空间效应,研究发现:(1)教育支出对经济增长的直接影响不显著,教育属于非生产性部门,不会对总产出产生直接影响;(2)教育支出对经济增长率的空间溢出效应为正且显著,即本地区教育支出的增加会对其他地区的经济增长产生正影响;(3)总效应为正且显著,从长期来看教育支出的增加会促进该地区的经济增长。更多还原

【Abstract】 As an industry, education has a variety of spillover effects which improve the quality of production factors and make economic activities more efficient. This paper empirically analyzes the spatial effect of the proportion of public education expenditure on the economic growth through spatial Durbin model based on the data of 14 cities in Liaoning Province from 2005 to 2016. The results show that:(1)The direct effect of the education expenditure on economic growth is not significant. Education is a non-productive sector and does not have a direct impact on total output.(2)The spatial spillover effect of education expenditure on economic growth is positive and significant. That is, the increase of education expenditure in neighboring regions will have a positive impact on the local economic growth.(3)The overall effect is positive and significant, and in the long term, the increase of education expenditure will promote the economic growth in this region.更多还原
