【Abstract】 The grinding mill is the core equipment in mineral processing plant, its investment and operation cost account for more than 60% of the total cost. According to the development status of the grinding mill in recent years, the paper concluded that the grinding industry was characterized by diversification of comminution circuit, large size of grinding mill, systemization of process and equipment, intelligence of equipment operation. It also indicated four development directions of the grinding mill involving large size, intelligence, efficiency and energy saving.
