【Abstract】 The"output-oriented approach"is a new foreign language teaching theory based on the"output-driven hypothesis"which has been developed and perfected continuously. It emphasizes the teaching hypothesis of"output-driven","input-facilitated"and"selective learning",which fully embodies the teaching concept of"learning-using as one". Business English Letter Writing is a practical course,which aims to cultivate students’ written expression skills in foreign economic and trade work. Therefore,the combination of theory and practice is crucial.
