【摘要】 介绍了以美国阿雷西博望远镜为例的大型科研设施的信息传承与保护的困境。为了传承和保护我国500米口径球面射电望远镜(FAST)设施的信息,在研究数字化技术对信息传承与保护作用的基础上,提出一种利用数字化技术对FAST信息传承与保护的方案。通过创建FAST的三维模型、对模型分类编码并利用VR虚拟现实技术对其进行展示,可以有效的传承和保护FAST信息,为大型科研设施信息的传承与保护提供了借鉴。

【Abstract】 This paper introduces the dilemma of information inheritance and protection of large scientific research facilities by taking the Arecibo Telescope in the United States as an example. In order to inherit and protect the information of China’s Fivehundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope(FAST) facility, a scheme of using digital technology to inherit and protect FAST information is proposed on the basis of studying the role of digital technology in information inheritance and protection. By creating a three-dimensional model of FAST, classifying and coding the model and displaying it with virtual reality technology, the information of FAST can be effectively inherited and protected, which provides a reference for the inheritance and protection of large scientific research facilities.
