大河口西周墓地M 5010出土锻造铜饰的技术特征及其相关问题

【摘要】 本文对大河口西周墓地M5010出土8件铜马胄饰片进行工艺和材质分析,结果显示饰片厚度在0.2~0.3毫米之间,金相组织为典型的等轴晶、孪晶组织,铅颗粒均匀弥散分布,可见拉长变形并沿加工方向排列的硫化物夹杂和滑移带;材质为铅锡青铜,含锡5.1%~7.8%、铅3.0%~10.8%。饰片的加工过程主要包括锤揲制作铜片、模印出主体纹饰条带、錾压刻画细部纹饰、裁切镂空,以及冲压铆孔和铜片穿系修补等。基于此,本文指出商周时期锻制工艺在中原地区的发展与金器、车马装饰品的出现和流行可能存在一定联系,东周时锻造制品的工艺和材质呈现多样化的发展趋势。

【Abstract】 This paper carried out compositional analysis and technical investigation of 8 bronze horse helmet ornaments unearthed from tomb M5010 in the Western Zhou Cemetery at Dahekou.The results show that the analyzed ornaments,whose thicknesses range from 0.2 to 0.3 mm,have a typical metalogical structure of equiaxed and twin grains with scattered lead particles.The elongated sulphide inclusions and slip bands are also observed.The ornaments were made of leaded tin bronze with tin concentrations of 5.1% to 7.8% and 3.0% to 10.8% for lead.The fabricating of these ornaments is suggested to consist of several procedures including sheet hammering,die embossing of main decoration strips,engraving of fine decoration,cutting of openwork,punching of rivet holes and patching by small copper bands.One the basis of aforementioned observation,it is pointed out that the development of forging technics in the Central Plain might be connected with the emergence and widespread of gold object and decoration of horse/chariot.It was during the Eastern Zhou period the forged objects showed a developmental trend of diverse in terms of both material and technics.
