【Abstract】 Cai Yuanpei,Xu Baohuang and Shao Piaoping were the main founders and important mentors of Peking University Journalism Research Association. Their news practice and educational activities have contributed to the journalism education concept of Peking University Journalism Research Association. This is also of great significance to the news education that has just started in China. By analyzing the news education activities and concepts of the three people,we can comprehensively reveal the specific source of the journalism education concept of Peking University Journalism Research Association:the influence of the Chinese newspaper environment and current situation on the founder’s concept in the early 20 th century.
