【Abstract】 Original thinking of traditional Chinese medicine is a unique way of thinking formed under the specific historical conditions of Chinese traditional culture, which is constantly exploring and thinking about life,health and disease. The cultivation of original thinking in traditional Chinese medicine depends on the transmission of cultural psychology, and folk custom education imparts the gene of human cultural life. By analyzing the origin and relationship between folk culture and the original thinking of TCM, this paper expounds the value and significance of folk education in cultivating the original thinking of TCM, puts forward a new idea of cultivating the original thinking of TCM by folk education, and probes into the path of folk custom education in Colleges and universities of TCM from the aspects of excavating the core connotation, creating cultural atmosphere and folk customs.
