【Abstract】 As a professional education for cultivating teachers, teacher education aims at pursuing high-quality teachers. The improvement of professional practice of educators is the basic requirement for the professionalization of educators, meanwhile it is also an important appeal for the development of teacher education, and a vital guarantee for improving the quality of teacher education. The traits of the professional role of university educators and the realization of their professional responsibilities are the value of their professional practice improvement. To explore the way of improving the professional practice of university teacher educators, educators need to identify professional roles and enhance the autonomy of professional practice improvement. The cooperative community needs to provide a platform for teacher educators to improve professional practice. Academic status and the value of its professional practice of teacher educators should be clarified in teacher education policy. Teacher education institutions need to establish external stipulations and external support environments to guide the professional practice of teacher educators.
