【Abstract】 The ideological and political work in colleges and universities must be changed, advanced with the times, and innovated with the trend. "Curriculum-based ideological and political education" represents a new philosophy of ideological and political work. It is a brand-new concept of curriculum and an inevitable choice for achieving the whole-process and all-round education at higher-learning stage. It serve as a key driving force for running socialism-oriented colleges and universities, implementing the fundamental task of fostering integrity, reinforcing the political ideals and beliefs and ensuring that moral education is carried out throughout the whole process of higher learning and instruction."Curriculum-based ideological and political education" highlights problem-solving orientation, focuses on the value origin of talent cultivation at higher learning stage, highlights the foundation of educating people in socialist universities with Chinese characteristics in the new era and aims to realize coordination between all disciplines and ideological and political theory courses.
