【Abstract】 The Cold Food Festival is one of the oldest festivals in China.It was set up with the purpose of memorizing Jie Zitui during the Spring and Autumn Period.The folk custom of the Cold Food Festival is a typical example of the transformation of traditional festivals in China.Jie Zitui’s spirits are educational for his behaviors such as cutting meat from his thigh to feed the king,not seeking for rewards even with great contribution,and to die by hugging a tree.This paper hopes to study the connotation of loyalty and filial piety culture of the Cold Food Festival.The study of loyalty and filial piety culture of the Cold Food Festival from the dialectical perspective and the investigation of its cultural values are of significance for the contemporary education.更多还原
