耐熔滴性阻燃聚酯的制备及性能研究
Study on preparation and property of flame retardant PET with dripping resistance
【摘要】 以三(2-羟乙基)异氰尿酸酯(THEIC)和对苯二甲酸(PTA)为原料合成三(2-羟乙基)异氰尿酸对苯二甲酸酯(T-ester),将T-ester与聚磷酸铵(APP)复配形成膨胀型阻燃剂(IFR)。将IFR与抗熔滴剂聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)、含磷聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(FRPET)按不同比例熔融共混制备阻燃抗熔滴聚酯共混物。通过差示扫描量热(DSC)、热重(TG)、极限氧指数(LOI)、水平燃烧、锥形量热测试及流变测试表征系列共混物的性能与结构变化。研究表明,IFR和PTFE共同作用于FRPET,在促进成炭方面,具有协同作用且PTFE具有明显减弱熔滴的作用。IFR和PTFE质量比为1∶2的FRPET/IFR/PTFE共混物LOI为30%,1min内熔滴数为21滴,总燃烧释放热和总烟释放量明显降低。
【Abstract】 A charring agent tris(2-hydroxyethyl)isocyanurate terephthalic acid ester(T-ester)was synthesized using tris(2-hydroxyethyl)isocyanurate(THEIC)and purified terephthalic acid(PTA)as raw materials.Intumescent flame retardant(IFR)was prepared via combination of T-ester and ammonium polyphosphate(APP).The preformed IFR was melt blended into phosphorus-containing flame retardant polyethylene terephthalate(FRPET),along with PTFE as additive anti-dropping agent.The properties and structural change were characterized by means of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),thermogravimetry(TG),limiting oxygen index(LOI),cone calorimetry(CONE),horizontal flame test and dynamic rheometer.It can be concluded that IFR/PTFE system had obviously synergistic effect to improve the formation of residue char.Moreover,PTFE played an important role of decreasing dripping.The sample can achieve the optimal performance when IFR and PTFE were used in ration of 1 to 2 in the blends.The LOI value increased to 30% and the numbers of melt drops fell to 21/min.The total heat release and total smoke release decreased significantly.
