地震b值研究进展综述
THE PROGRESS ON b-VALUE OF EARTHQUAKE
【摘要】 地震b值是迄今为止地震活动性研究中应用较多的重要参数。介绍了b值的基本概念、计算方法、物理意义和不同断裂所主导的构造区域b值显著不同的观点,并简要叙述b值在强震地点判定、地震震级预测以及强震超越概率预测的相关应用,最后对未来b值综合性研究进行展望。
【Abstract】 Seismic b-value is an important parameter that has been widely used in seismicity research so far. This paper introduces the basic concept, calculation method, physical meaning of b-value and the viewpoint that b-value is significantly different in the tectonic area dominated by different faults, and briefly describes the application of b-value in strong earthquake location determination, earthquake magnitude prediction and strong earthquake transcendence probability prediction, and finally looks forward to the comprehensive study of b-value in the future.
