茫崖地区地震活动特征研究
STUDY ON SEISMIC ACTIVITY CHARACTERISTICS IN MANGYA AREA
【摘要】 茫崖地区所处的构造位置比较特殊,对区域应力增强较为敏感,区域内发生的震群和3、4级地震对本区域内5级以上地震具有预测意义。区域内震群和5级以上地震活动又与青海地区6级以上地震平静存在一定的相关性。关注茫崖地区地震活动有助于青海地区的震情趋势判定工作。
【Abstract】 Mangya area is located in a special tectonic location,which is sensitive to regional stress enhancement,and the earthquake swarms and earthquakes with magnitude 3 and 4 occurred in the region are significant for earthquake prediction with M5 or above in the region. The regional earthquake swarms and earthquakes with M5 or above have certain correlation with the calm of earthquakes with magnitude 6 or above in Qinghai area. Attention to the seismicity in Mangya area is beneficial to the determination of earthquake situation trend in Qinghai area.
