面向能耗优化的混合线速率保护方法研究
An Energy-Optimized Mixed-Line-Rate Dedicated Protection Approach in Software-Defined Flexible Bandwidth Optical Networks
【摘要】 在软件定义频谱灵活光网络中,为了解决网络的能耗效率问题,满足绿色与节能的网络发展需求,本文根据光交换节点的可编程特性,通过OpenFlow扩展通信协议,利用软件定义频谱灵活光网络的服务架构,网络中心控制器与应用层控制器协同操作,提出了面向能耗优化的混合线速率保护方法,并对传统专用保护方法与所提方法进行了比较。仿真结果表明:与传统专用保护方法相比,所提面向能耗优化的混合线速率保护方法能够有效减少软件定义频谱灵活光网络的功耗,实现不同线速率的光转发器和光再生器优化配置,解决软件定义频谱灵活光网络的能耗效率问题。
【Abstract】 In Software-Defined Flexible Bandwidth Optical Networks(SD-FBONs), the energy-efficiency problems have to be solved in order to meet the requirements of the green and energy-saving optical networks. In this paper, considering the programmable characteristics of optical switching nodes, the service architecture of SD-FBONs is flexibly operated by the network center controller and application layer controller based on the extended OpenFlow protocol. An Energy-Optimized Mixed-Line-Rate Dedicated Protection Approach(EO-MLR-DPA) is proposed to reduce the energy consumption, and the Traditional Dedicated Protection Approach(T-DPA) is introduced for comparison in SD-FBONs. The simulation results show that, compared with T-DPA, the proposed EO-MLR-DPA can effectively reduce the power consumption and optimize the configuration of the optical transponder and optical regenerator under different line rates and modulation formats in SD-FBONs.
