【Abstract】 The paper briefly examines the peculiarity and importance of the strategic position of three Northeast Asian countries, namely Mongolia, which is adjacent to northern China, North Korea and the Republic of Korea(ROK), and discusses the close relationship between Mongolia and the ROK and North Korea from the perspectives of politics, economy, humanity and culture. The paper also anticipates that Mongolia’s mediation in the Korean Peninsula issue by taking advantage of its good relationship with both North Korea and South Korea will have positive impact on the relaxation of the Korean Peninsula’s situation, and is in favor of China’s policy towards the Korean Peninsula in which China unswervingly insists on the peaceful and stable development, denuclearization, and solving the Korean Peninsula issue through dialogue and negotiation.更多还原
