【Abstract】 According to the situation of operation and management supervision of small and medium-sized reservoirs in Guangdong Province for many years and the author’s practice of dam safety evaluation for many years, this paper points out the problems found in the current safety evaluation of small and medium-sized reservoirs in terms of basic data collection and site safety inspection, site safety detection and engineering quality evaluation, and engineering rechecking calculation and evaluation, so as to improve the safety evaluation level of small and medium-sized reservoirs and dams and do a good job.
