研究型大学工科境外专任教师的引入特征
Features of Introducing Engineering Full-time Overseas Faculty in Research-based Universities
【摘要】 对原"985工程"高校官网教师简历分析发现,工科境外专任教师的引入呈现以下特征:数量优势明显,但引才效果低于各学科平均水平;地域分布受地区产业结构和学科布局重心影响;多数聚焦在理工类高校及国际化学院;存在性别失衡、文化程度较高、正高职称为主、研究领域过于集中等群体特征。这在很大程度上与全球劳动力市场的成熟、引才政策的利工科倾向、工科的知识特征、我国工科发展的历史与现状、研究型大学发展路径的选择等因素有关。
【Abstract】 Based on the data from the official websites of former "985project" universities,this paper found the following features of introducing full-time overseas faculty in engineering:Firstly,a large number of full-time overseas faculty are introduced,but the quality of them is lower than the average level.Secondly,its geographical distribution is affected by the regional industrial structure and the emphasis of discipline layout.Thirdly,the majority are in science and engineering universities and internationalized colleges.Fourthly,although the majority are well-educated,there are also some problems,such as gender imbalance and narrow research field.To agreat extent,all these features are closely related to these factors,such as the mature global labor market,the tendency of talents introducing policies,the features of engineering knowledge,the history and current situation of engineering education in Chinese universities and the development route selection made by research-based universities.
