【摘要】 电子资源管理是当前图书馆面临的极具挑战性的工作之一,实施与应用一个既实用又符合图书馆需求的电子资源管理系统(Electronic Resource Management System, ERMS),可以有效帮助提高电子资源管理的效率。ERMS在国内发展缓慢,国内图书馆自动化管理系统(ILS)及电子资源提供商尚未推出基于电子资源生命周期的ERMS产品,国外商业ERMS高昂的价格和维护成本导致了其在国内应用和推广的困难。通过对厦门大学图书馆自主研发的ERMS的功能模块和应用实施情况的介绍,分析了其功能特点和尚需完善之处。厦门大学图书馆自主研发的ERMS从根本上改变了原有的电子资源管理方式,使得电子资源管理进入流程化、规范化、电子化、自动化和系统化的新阶段。在我国下一代图书馆自动化系统成熟之前,在过渡期间作为一个独立系统有其现实意义。更多还原

【Abstract】 Electronic resource management(ERM)is a challenging task of libraries.The implementation and application of an Electronic resource Management Systems(ERMS)that meets requirements of libraries will improve ERM efficiencies.ERMS development is relatively slow in China as both Integrated Library System(ILS)vendors and digital content providers in China haven’t released ERMS products based on digital resource lifecycles.While the high costs of subscription and maintenance of imported ERMS products cause difficulties and problems.This article introduces the functions and features of ERMS developed by Xiamen University Libraries(XMUL),and aims to offer references for academic libraries,ILS vendors,as well as digital content providers in China.It provides a brief introduction of the functions and development of ERMS in China and at abroad before illustrates function modules,implementation and application situations of ERMS.ERMS developed by XMUL fundamentally changes previous way of digital resource management in Xiamen University to a way of streamlined,standardized,electronic,automatic and systematic.As next generation library service platforms development is emerging and needs time to become mature,it is meaningful to have standalone ERMS before it is replaced by new generation systems in China.更多还原
