【摘要】 五四运动提倡的"民主与科学"不是一句口号,更重要的是与社会发展的现实紧密结合的时代精神。"民主与科学"和"爱国与进步"不是两条分离的、平行的思想路线,而是同一时代精神的两个方面。五四运动的时代精神,在20世纪40年代导致新民主主义的建国纲领。此后的时代精神与五四精神不同。需要在继承五四精神的基础上,修正"民主与科学"精神中功利主义和实证主义的因素。五四精神对我们所处的时代精神仍然有所裨益。更多还原

【Abstract】 Based on the trend of thought and reality over the last 100 years, this paper evaluates the spirit of the May 4^th Movement as an epochal spirit which eventually led to the founding program of New Democratism in the 1940s. After that, the epochal spirit became different from that of the May 4^th Movement. Thus, it is necessary to revise the utilitarianist and positivist factors of the spirit of "democracy and science" on the basis of inheritance, and make it beneficial to our present epochal spirit.更多还原
