超声对PMAA/PEG水凝胶的pH敏感性的影响

【摘要】 研究超声对合成水凝胶的pH敏感性的影响。以甲基丙烯酸(MAA)为单体、聚乙二醇(PEG)为致孔剂、N,N-亚甲基双丙烯酰胺为交联剂、过硫酸铵为引发剂,分别在超声和非超声条件下通过自由基溶液聚合制备PMAA/PEG水凝胶。采用傅立叶变换红外光谱、同步热分析仪和扫描电子显微镜对凝胶的结构、热稳定性和溶胀态表面形貌进行表征,凝胶的吸水性和pH敏感性用其在纯水和不同pH缓冲液中的溶胀行为来表征。结果表明,超声并不会影响凝胶的化学组成和热稳定性,但对提高凝胶的水溶胀性和pH敏感性有一定的作用,这与超声的致孔作用有关。

【Abstract】 The effect of ultrasound on the pH sensitivity of synthetic polymer hydrogels was studied. The poly(methacrylic) acid(PMAA)/polyethylene glycol(PEG) composite hydrogel were synthesized by solution polymerization with using methacrylic acid(MAA) as monomer,PEG as pore-forming agent,N,N-methylenebis acrylamide(BIS) as cross-linking agent and ammonium persulfate(APS) as initiator,under ultrasonic and non-ultrasonic conditions,respectively. The chemical composition,thermal stability and swelling surface morphology of the gels were characterized by infrared spectroscopy,synchronous thermal analyzer and scanning electron microscope,while the swelling property in water and the pH sensitivity of the gels were characterized by their swelling behavior in pure water and different pH buffer solutions. The results show that,although ultrasound do not affect the chemical composition and thermal stability of the gels,it has some positive effect on improving the water swelling property and pH sensitivity of the gels,which is related to the pore-forming effect of ultrasound.
