【Abstract】 There is a consensus of the research field of Chu Ci since Wang Yi in the Eastern Han Dynasty, thatQu Yuan and Jin Shang participated in the discussion of whether King Huai should join the "Wuguan League" in QinDynasty in the 30 th year of the King Huai of the Chu State, and the main reason why King Huai of Chu State died inQin Dynasty was that he was bewildered by Zhang Yi and Zheng Xiu. The reason is not credible. Qu Yuan was not inthe court when "Wu Guan alliance", because that he was removed from office five years ago in the 25 th year of theKing Huai of the Chu State. Jin Shang died in assassination in the 18 th year of the King Huai of the Chu State, andZhang Yi died in Wei state in the 20 th year of the King Huai of the Chu State. Therefore, the tragedy of King Huaiof Chu State was not directly related to Qu Yuan, Jin Shang and Zhang Yi. The sudden fall of King Huai of ChuState from the peak of his life was due to a series of improper handling of an accident.
