【Abstract】 Timothy Williamson supported the viewpoint of propositional evidence and demonstrated it in detail. On the one hand,through the central functions of evidence in inference to the best explanation,probabilistic reasoning,and ruling out inconsistent hypotheses,Williamson strongly argued that all evidence is propositional. On the other hand,by analyzing the evidence that the cognitive subject has not grasped and perceptual evidence,Williamson further demonstrated that one grasped the propositions that were one’s evidence.
