木薯渣纤维表面改性对其复合材料性能的影响

【摘要】 本研究将淀粉与辛酰氯通过酯化反应得到酯化淀粉(SE),再分别使用5%SE(相对于木薯渣纤维质量计)、质量分数为3%Na OH以及二者共同对木薯渣纤维进行表面改性,改性后木薯渣纤维再与聚丁二酸丁二醇酯(PBS)基体通过熔融共混制备木薯渣-PBS复合材料(以下简称复合材料)。采用傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(FT-IR)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)以及X射线衍射仪(XRD)分析表征所制得的复合材料。结果表明,相比分别以Na OH、SE单独改性木薯渣纤维制备的复合材料,二者共同改性木薯渣纤维制备的复合材料的力学性能有所提高,且木薯渣纤维与PBS基体之间表现出更好的相容性。XRD分析表明,相比Na OH单独改性木薯渣纤维制备的复合材料,SE和Na OH共同改性木薯渣纤维制备的复合材料的结晶度有所下降。另外,通过推测得出了Na OH与SE共同改性木薯渣纤维增强其复合材料力学性能的机理。

【Abstract】 Esterified starch(SE) was prepared by introducing aliphatic chains into the macromolecule of starch using caprylyl chloride as esterification reagent.SE and NaOH were used as interface modification agents for cassava dregs-PBS composite.The FT-IR showed that the hydroxyl peaks of SE were weaker than that of the original starch,indicating that the hydrophobicity of SE was improved.Tensile and impact properties of the composites prepared by the cassava whole surface was treated with combination of SE and NaOH improved significantly comparing with that of the sample in which the cassava was treated only with SE or NaOH.Furthermore,the improved interfacial compatibility of the cassava dreg fibers treated with combination of SE and NaOH and the PBS matrix was confirmed by SEM observation.In addition,XRD analysis indicated that the crystallinity of composite in which cassava fibers were treated with NaOH was superior to that of the composite in which the cassava fiber was treated with combination of SE and NaOH.Furthermore,the mechanism of SE and Na OH surface treatment enhanced the interfacial bonding of composites was speculated.
